A LIVING ARTWORK follows the artist Sonja Bäumel, medical historian Birgit Nemec and cultural critic Jules Sturm as they develop a series of interventions, performances and exhibitions centred around the concept of "the living" in art. The film follows its protagonists between Vienna, Amsterdam and Berlin, and documents the various plans and events as part of an unfolding "work in progress".
