Research Film

Research filmmaking combines practices from documentary, essay film, and oral history to produce films in close collaboration with researchers, subject experts, archivists and historical witnesses.
The aim of this work is to go beyond standard notions of research communication: to document knowledge production as a process, to integrate filmmaking into research methodologies, and to explore the potential of thinking through film.
